MAIN STRUCTURE AND FEATURES OF THE EQUIPMENT

Cold aggregate supplying system

The cold aggregate supply system includes a cold aggregate belt feeder and a cold aggregate conveyor.The cold aggregate is measured by the belt feeder and graded according to the requirements of asphalt pavement construction.The cold aggregate conveyor collects and transfers the graded cold aggregate to the drying drum.

Controlled by Schneider inverter, automatically batching according to the proportion of cold aggregate set by computer, realizing single bucket adjustment or multiple bucket synchronous adjustment.

Cold aggregate supplying system

Low-pressure atomizing burner has low requirements on fuel quality, various grades of fuel including inferior residual oil could be used, with nearly 100% burning rate and  fuel consumption less than 6.5kg/t, which is especially suitable for the case of large fuel quality variables.

Dust collecting system

The dust collecting system is composed of a secondary system, the first stage is a volute dust collector and the second stage is a bag type dust collector, which can be used to collect the dust generated in the production process of the equipment. The system includes a temperature-controlled cold air door, an induced draft fan, an exhaust chimney, and a filler conveyor.

The 1st stage dust collector adopts volute type cyclone type dust collector. Its biggest characteristic is that it can effectively separate fine aggregate 0.075mm with an efficiency of 85%.

The secondary dust collector adopts the international popular air back blow bag type dust collector. The dust remover changes the direction of the air flow to reverse the outside air flow through the bag and make the dust fall off.


Vibration screen

The vibrating screen is driven by double vibration motor, self-synchronous linear, the screen body adopts laser precise cutting, sheet cold riveting technology, no deformation, no cracking; the beam is made of professional mould, which ensures the geometric precision of the sieve core, eliminates the transverse vibration phenomenon when the vibrating sieve is running, and the amplitude of each point is consistent; the unique inclined damping spring structure makes the shaker more stable in operation and has excellent vibration isolation effect.

The vibrating screen is equipped with 5 kinds of mesh, which subdivides the specification of aggregate. At the same time, it can produce a variety of aggregate gradation asphalt mixture without changing the mesh, which reduces the labor intensity of maintenance personnel and saves the precious production time. The screening area of the vibrating screen is up to 23 square meters, which improves the screening accuracy of aggregate and ensures the grading accuracy of aggregate.

Hot aggregate bin storage system

Hot aggregates are respectively stored in 5 hot aggregate bins with 50 mm rock wool insulation, the outer wall is covered with striped colored steel plates, to bring thermal insulation performance of temperature reduction ≤20 °C within 12 hours. The level indicator can real-time detect all the material levels in each bin; the hot aggregate silo separator is made of special wear-resistant alloy steel plate with stepped baffle to prevent wear; each bin is set with inspection hole and overflow pipe.

Weighing system


The weighing system adopts pull sensor structure, American Toledo sensor and Chimei weighing instrument, with high weighing accuracy.

Hot aggregate weighing

The measurement of hot aggregate is controlled by the double measurement method of large and small gate, and the drop compensation of aggregate is automatically calculated and compensated by the computer for 1/2 each time, so that the batching accuracy of aggregate is higher. Manual forced feeding is also allowed.

Filler weighing


The screw conveyor is adopted for the weighing of filler, which makes the conveying of filler more efficient and stable.

Butterfly valves are installed at the inlet and outlet of filler weighing hopper to improve the weighing accuracy of filler and ensure no leakage.

Asphalt weighing

The asphalt is measured by subtraction method. When the asphalt enters the weighing hopper, it is automatically measured according to the set asphalt-aggregate ratio by increasing 10%. When mixing, according to the actual total weight of aggregate and filler, it is automatically tracked by the computer and calculated according to the ratio. The actual amount of asphalt used is precisely controlled by the process. This absolutely guarantees the accuracy of the asphalt-aggregate ratio of the asphalt mixture.

Mixing tank


The vortex-type double-horizontal forced-type mixing tank has strong mixing ability, uniform and rapid mixing, and high production efficiency.

The use of internationally renowned liners and mixing blades has a working life of more than 100,000 batches.

The discharge door of the mixing tank adopts a fully open circular arc door design, which can discharge the asphalt mixture in the shortest time (7 seconds) (5 seconds less than the flap type), effectively improving the mixing cycle.

Electrical control system

The operation room divides the strong electric part and the control part into two separate areas, in which the strong electric part cancels the traditional electric cabinet, and all the electrical components are directly installed on the wall of the operation room, making the electrical components easier to dissipate heat and more convenient for maintenance. The operation room adopts container structure and the outer wall is made of luxury double-layer aluminum alloy gusset plate for good-looking appearance.

Electrical control system uses mitsubishi PLC, schneider contactor, thermal relay, frequency converter, soft starter and other international famous brand electrical components.

As a human-machine interface, two high-quality industrial computers with high configuration adopt the same software system and functions to backup each other online, realizing the real dual machine and dual control. When one computer breaks down, the other one can still continue to control the normal production of the equipment. Either computer can independently control equipment to achieve system data management, historical records, operating parameters adjustment and other operational functions.

The control interface is completely used in the way you see it. It is quick to get started, convenient and reliable to control. All the running records and recipe data you need can be stored in the computer or printed out.

Remote diagnosis

With the advancement of science and technology, the new technology of asphalt mixing equipment has been continuously updated. In 2014, Xitong established an advanced remote control center, which uses modern network technology to realize mutual communication and data transmission with site equipment from user side, and obtain the running status and fault information of equipment on site and provide online operation support. Through the video, the actual operating status of the equipment can be displayed on the screen of the control center.

In the event of failure or failure omen of the site equipment, when it is difficult for the maintenance personnel on site to make a diagnosis and repair, the connection with the Xitong remote control center can be established through the network, and the equipment experts of the remote control center can diagnose it and timely repair failure of equipment. 

Compared with the traditional after-sales service, the equipment remote monitoring and diagnosis maintenance technology enables the communication between the after-sales department, the equipment operation site, technical experts and manufacturers to be fast and accurate, and has incomparable advantages in the aspects of fast and low-cost troubleshooting.
