As long as the Asphalt Mixing Plant is operated in accordance with the specifications, the equipment can generally maintain a good, stable and safe operation condition, otherwise, the safety of the asphalt mixer operation cannot be guaranteed. So how to treat asphalt mixer properly in daily use?

The most basic point is to set the asphalt mixer in a flat position, and pad the front and rear wheel axles with square wood to keep the tires in the air, so as not to affect the mixing effect when moving. Under normal circumstances, the asphalt mixer, like other production machinery, must take grade II electric leakage protection, and can only be put into use after passing the trial operation.

It is necessary to mention the trial operation of asphalt mixer, especially to check whether the rotating speed of drum is appropriate. In general, it is ok that the speed of empty drum is a little faster than that after loading. If the difference between the two conditions is not very big, we need to adjust the ratio between the driven wheel and the driving wheel. And also check that the rotation direction of the drum, which should conform to the direction indicated by the arrow; Check transmission clutch and brake are flexible and reliable, ensue there is no damage to the wire rope, check whether the track pulley is good, whether there are obstacles around it, and the lubrication status of various parts.

When the asphalt mixer has been started up, it is necessary to pay attention to the normal operation of its components at all times; when it is stopped, it is also necessary to observe whether the blades of the mixer are bent and whether the screws have fallen or loosened. When the asphalt mixing is completed or it is expected to stop for more than 1 hour, the hopper needs to be cleaned in addition to removing the remaining material.

This is to prevent the asphalt from accumulating in the hopper of the asphalt mixer. During the cleaning process, pay attention to the absence of water in the drum to prevent the drum and blade from rusting. At the same time, the ash accumulation on the outside of the mixer should be cleaned to keep the machine clean and intact.
